THE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM

The reproductive system consists of male and female reproductive organs and structures, and the hormones control the development and function of these organs and structures.

The reproductive system is closely related to other organs, especially the endocrine and urinary system.
The reproductive system is needed for the formation and development of new living organisms.

The essential characteristic of man is the ability to replicate life / to engender and sustain it.
Sexual reproduction generates embryos that inherit the genetic traits from both parents.

THE FEMALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM

Structures involved

Labia Majora

Large lip-like exterior structures are surrounding and shielding genital structures.

Labia Minora

Smaller external lip-like structures located within the labia majora. They offer protection for the clitoris and vaginal openings and the urethra.

Clitoris

The very active reproductive organ in front of the opening of the vagina. This comprises thousands of ends of sensory nerves and responds to sexual arousal.

Vagina

Fibrous, muscle duct running from the cervix (the opening of the uterus) to the outer part of the vaginal tube

Uterus

The external muscular organ that hosts and nurtures gametes after fertilization in women.

The uterus is sometimes called the vagina, where an embryo forms during pregnancy.

Ovaries

Primary reproductive female organs that contain gametes and sex hormones.

Each part of the uterus is an ovary one at a time. .

Uterine tubes

Are responsible for carrying egg cells from the ovaries to the womb.

Fertilization usually takes place in these containers.

Uterine tubes

Are responsible for carrying egg cells from the ovaries to the womb.

Fertilization usually takes place in these containers.

Additional Information

Anatomically, the breasts are attached to the pectoral muscles through connective tissue, giving the breast its contour and shape.

The breast is made up of about 12 lobes divided by connective tissue, much like the spokes of a wheel.

The lobes are further divided into lobes clustered around small ducts.

Such small ducts are joined together to form larger ducts, which end at the nipple.

Breasts are used as an accessory reproductive gland to secrete milk for a newborn baby.

During pregnancy, adjustments in estrogen and progesterone levels make breasts ready for lactation.

Approximately three days after delivery, a lactogenic hormone promotes the secretion of milk

THE MALE REPRODUCTIVE SYSTEM

Structures involved

Penis - key sexual contact gland

The system is made up of erectile tissue, connective tissue, skin.

The urethra stretches the length of the penis, facilitating the flow of urine and sperm.

Testicles

Key male reproductive systems are containing male gametes (sperm) and sex hormones.

Scrotum- Posterior skin pouch covering the testes.

As the scrotum is is outside the uterus, it can reach temperatures that are lower than the internal structures of the body.

For the production of proper sperm, lower temperatures are required.

Epididimys

Collection of ducts collecting premature research sperm. It has the purpose of producing immature sperm to house mature sperm.

Ducturs deferens/Vas deferens

Fibrous, muscle tubes that are continuous with the epididymis that has a sperm transport route from the epididymis to the urethra

Ejaculatory duct

This represents the duct formed from the union of ductus deferens and those of the seminal vesicles.

Any ejaculatory canal empties into the urethra.

Urethra

Tube, which stretches through the penis from the urinary bladder.

This channel facilitates the excretion of the body's giving fluids (semen) and urine. Sphincters prevent urine from entering through the urethra while semen passes through.

Seminal vesicles

Glands containing fluid to grow and provide water for sperm cells.

Tubes from the seminal vesicles cross the ductus deferens to form the ejaculatory canal.

Prostate glands

Gland containing a milky, alkaline fluid that increases the motility of the sperm.

Prostate materials flow into urethra.

Glands of bulbourethral or Cowper

Small glands found at the base of the penis. These glands secrete an alkaline fluid in response to sexual arousal that helps neutralize from urine acidity in the urethra and acidity in the vagina.

Additional Information

The human reproductive system constitutes several primary and secondary organs to enable the reproduction process.

The male reproductive system is specialized in the development and transport of male gametes to the female reproductive tract via fluid support and testosterone production.

Male reproductive system organs consist of the paired testis(testosterone site and sperm production), scrotum (testis localization

compartment), epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, prostate gland, bulbourethral gland, ejaculatory duct, urethra, and penis.

The accessory organs promote the process of sperm maturation and transport.

Semen (ejaculate) is a sperm with semen secretions of seminal vesicles, penis, and bulbourethral glands.

Penis and urethra help to transmit the ejaculate to the female reproductive tract.

Herbs & Essential Oils for Men

Korean Ginseng (Panax Ginseng)

Tribulus fruit (Tribulus terrestris)

Tribulus fruit (Tribulus terrestris)

Low sperm motility (inability of the sperm to enter the egg) and low sperm count are two common causes of male infertility.

Ginseng addresses both issues.

Considering its potential to enhance sexual wellbeing,

increase sex drive, Improve efficiency to help erectile dysfunction, improve sperm count, Ginseng is one of the most suitable for male reproductive system.

Tribulus fruit (Tribulus terrestris)

Tribulus fruit (Tribulus terrestris)

Tribulus fruit (Tribulus terrestris)

TCM and Ayurvedic practitioners discovered that when paired with nutritional and exercise improvements, Tribulus is very successful in increasing sperm count, motility, and morphology.

A constituent called protodioscin is the central part of Tribulus that helps men infertility. Its component increases levels of DHEA

within the male body. In people with erectile dysfunction, it was observed that they had low DHEA levels.

Maca root (Lepidium meyenii)

Tribulus fruit (Tribulus terrestris)

Saw Palmetto berries (Serona repens)

One of the key activities of maca is to activate and nourish the hypothalamus that governs the pituitary gland, serving as a tonic for the production of hormones.

The entire endocrine system is regulated as the pituitary gland acts optimally since the pituitary gland regulates the hormone production of the other three glands.

Saw Palmetto berries (Serona repens)

Saw Palmetto berries (Serona repens)

Saw Palmetto berries (Serona repens)

Saw Palmetto feeds on the entire endocrine system and can help enhance overall reproductive function in males.

People with high stress, low immune system, unhealthy lifestyle and eating patterns have shown that this herb has been responding well.

This herb is known as an adaptogen and is antiandrogenic,

The most common sexual condition among men is impotence, the failure to sustain an erection.

Yohimbine is the active component present in the bark of the plant.

Yohimbine has been found to dilate the blood flow and decrease blood pressure, which enlarges the arteries inside the genital organs and enhances the decrease spinal cord's reflex excitability.

Yohimbe has proven itself to make erections firmer in other cases.
